LON slat angle automat
Order No.: 341 298
to combine glare control and light directing strategy, this is also possible.
However, this requires special blinds, which have mirrored light-directing
louvers in the area of the skylights and conventional louvers in the window
area. Regardless of which strategy you use, the necessary amount of artificial
light is always kept to a minimum.
Conditions for active slat tracking
For slat tracking to be active for a facade, the following conditions must be
met:
•
direct solar radiation at the location
•
sun shines on facade
•
current time is in the time window defined for the facade (time
window can be set via plug-in)
"Active" here means that the blinds are moved to a length defined by the
plug-in and the slat angle is adjusted according to the position of the sun and
the desired strategy (see above). The control of the blinds can be set in a way
that only changes of the slat setting angle greater than x degrees are sent to
the blind actuators. The value to be set in the plug-in results from the
individual compromise between maximized daylight yield and number of slat
tracking movements per day.
Direct solar radiation
Only direct sunlight can cause glare. In order to be able to detect this reliably,
the (maximum) brightness value measured at the location is used and it is
checked whether a corresponding brightness threshold has been exceeded or
fallen below for a certain time. This can be set in detail via plug-in.
Day-accurate calculation of the position of the sun
With the e.control system, the current position of the sun is not
determined by means of "static" table values in the course of a
week or month, but is calculated to the day at quarter-hour
intervals. The interval can be parameterized and allows further
calculations. However, any frequency of the calculation process is
not necessary.
Sun on the facade
To determine whether sunlight would theoretically fall on a facade, its
orientation and the current position of the sun are necessary. The orientation
can be set to the exact degree using the plug-in. The current position of the
sun (azimuth and elevation) is calculated by specifying the geographical
position of the building (to be set via plug-in) and the current time and date
(real-time clock integrated).
