checkbox to enable the user to access CIFS shares in a Windows
workgroup environment.

Create a CIFS Share

From the menu bar, select
Configuration > NAS > Shares > CIFS
. The CIFS Shares screen
displays.

Action > New
. The New CIFS Share dialog box displays to show the options for
creating a new share.

Use the drop-down menu to select the
Volume
you want to share.
4.
Set the
Name
for the CIFS share. This is the name that is displayed in Active Directory
configurations.
