Additional notes:
• Note: Tapes in a drive without the Degauss Firmware will report error:
CRC
CHECK FAILED.
• Drives only retain DIP switch settings until they are power cycled. Any drive that
is re-initialized will no longer be capable of writing to Degaussed media and will
need the DIP switches reset.
• Once Degauss media has been written to and removed from the drive, it is no
longer considered Degauss media.
