7 LIABILITY PROVISIONS
Irrespective of what is determined regarding liability in the general conditions applicable
to the product, apply with regard to liability in any case the following:
1. Subject to the following provisions, Special Mobility only accepts liability for damage
caused by death or bodily injury resulting from a defect in the product for which Special
Mobility is responsible and for damage to another object belonging to the privately owned
user of the product, provided that the damage is the direct result of a defect in the
product.
2. Special Mobility accepts no other or further liability than articulates under 1. In
particular Special Mobility assumes no liability for consequential damages, in whatever
form.
8 USE
The Caddy³ is suitable for transporting people over paved surfaces indoors and limited
transport outdoors. The Caddy³ is able to go over some obstacles and ramps, the Caddy³
can be used, to transport one person using a maximum weight not exceeding 150 kg. In
addition, a Caddy³ can be coupled. This Caddy³ is intended as a means for transportation
of people who can not sufficiently walk over longer distances. The Transport Unit is
intended for temporary use. There can be coupled with a Caddy³ or a Caddy e-Move. The
Caddy³ can be used under normal environmental conditions.
