• Do not touch the power adapter if there are any signs of damage, as this may
cause a fatal electric shock!
Switch off the mains voltage to the mains socket containing the mains adapter
(switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety fuse, and then
switch off at the corresponding RCD protective switch to ensure the mains socket
is completely disconnected from the mains voltage).
Only then remove the mains adapter from the mains socket. Dispose of the faulty
mains adapter in an environmentally friendly manner and discontinue use. Re
-
place it with an identical mains adapter.
c) Operation
• The product is only intended for use in dry indoor locations. No part of the product
should become damp or wet; never handle it if your hands are wet!
With the wall plug transformers there is also the deadly peril of an electric shock!
• Choose a stable, even, flat and sufficiently large surface to set up the transmit
-
ter/receiver module. Valuable furniture surfaces must be protected from dents or
scratches with a suitable underlay.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been taken from a cold room into to
a warm one. This may cause condensation to form, which can destroy the product.
With the wall plug transformers there is also the deadly peril of an electric shock!
Allow the product to reach room temperature before connecting it and putting it
into use. This may take several hours.
• Make sure the cables are not bent or jammed when installing the product.

Installation location and range
If possible, you should perform a function test first. When doing this, the distance
between the transmitter and receiver module should only be a few metres. Only
when signal transmission works correctly should you place the devices at their final
installation locations. This way, you can ensure that only the installation location
causes the problems and not, for example, a low-quality HDMI cable.
The wireless set provides wireless transmission of an HDMI-compatible AV signal (see chapter
‘Technical data’ for resolutions). The product uses 5 GHz wireless technology based on WLAN
(802.11ac).
Position the transmitter and receiver modules so that they are unobstructed. Do not place them
behind other devices (e.g. behind a TV set) as this will shield the wireless signal and prevent
connection (or the range will only be very short). Do not place the transmitter and receiver
modules next to other wireless products (e.g. internet routers, repeaters, etc.).
For a long range, there should be as few walls/furniture etc. between the transmitter and re
-
ceiver modules as possible, as this will greatly reduce the range.
The transmission range of the wireless signals between the transmitter and receiver modules
is up to 200 m with a direct line of sight under optimal conditions.
Due to different influences on the wireless transmission, this value cannot be achieved in build
-
ings. Try to change the orientation of the antennas; if necessary, select a different installation
location for the transmitter and receiver modules. Reduce the distance between the devices,
use for example a longer (and high-quality) HDMI cable.
Use a suitable underlay to protect valuable furniture surfaces from dents, scratches or discol
-
ouration.
