Installation
Wall-mounting is permissible only where the wall concerned is of the correct type and
condition. Thin lightweight partition walls or those made from gypsum boards with un-
stable substructures are normally unsuitable. However, specialist retailers do sometimes
stock special dowel fittings for such installation locations. If you are in doubt, ask a
specialist before installation.
Depending on the base wall material (e.g. concrete), suitable mounting materials must be
used (screws, dowels, etc.). The dowel screws enclosed are only suitable for solid walls.
Special dowels and screws are not normally supplied with the TV wall holder and must
be bought separately, depending on the type and condition of the wall concerned.
Due to the weight of the TV set, TV wall holder and the lever action involved, ensure that
the screws are fixed securely.
Plan the installation location carefully, so that the TV wall holder with the TV set fixed to
it will be situated at the correct location (height and position) when you have finished the
installation.
Pay attention when drilling and tightening the screws that no cable or pipes in the wall
are damaged. Inadvertently drilling through electric cables causes the life-threatening
danger of an electric shock!
Pay special attention to your safety when using electric tools (e.g. a drill). You should also
heed the safety instructions in the corresponding instructions.
Make sure no persons are in the area under the TV wall holder and/or the TV set during
the installation.
For this purpose, please observe the pictures in the mounting instructions enclosed.
Preparation of the TV set
• It is usually necessary to remove the TV set’s base before mounting it on a wall holder. Observe the operat-
ing instructions for your TV set.
• Put the TV set flat on a soft and clean underlay, the display side facing downwards. Do not apply pressure
on the display. Protect valuable furniture surfaces during installation by using a suitable pad or cloth.
• Remove the present base of the TV set. Depending on the TV set, this base is either screwed on or clipped
in.
Image 2a (Mounting on cavity wall constructions):
• Select the position and the height of the wall holder at the mounting location. The fastening holes on the
mounting plate must be centred on the wood stud or another stable mounting element of the wall construc-
tion. To define this position, e.g. a stud finder might be helpful.
Make sure you mount the wall holder in the right orientation. The arrows on the wall holder must
point upwards.
• Align the wall holder using a water level.
• Mark the necessary drilling holes for the upper and the lower mounting holes at the mounting site. To this
end, use the wall holder as a template.
• Drill the required holes.
• Screw two screws (W-A or other screws from the specialist shop suitable for the mounting surface) into the
drilled holes and let the screw heads protrude approx. 10 mm from the wall.
• Mount the wall holder with the top and the bottom mounting hole on the two screws. When doing so, slide
the wall holder downwards as far as possible.
• Now, drill two more holes for the two slotted holes in the wall holder.
• Screw the two remaining screws (W-A or other screws from the specialist shop suitable for the mounting
surface) into the drilled holes. Add the washers (W-C) here.
• Readjust the wall holder correctly with a mechanic’s level and tighten the fastening screws.
The dowels enclosed (W-B) are not used for this mounting type.
Image 2b (Mounting on solid wall constructions):
• Select the position and the height of the wall holder at the mounting location.
Make sure you mount the wall holder in the right orientation. The arrows on the wall holder must
point upwards.
• Align the wall holder using a water level.
• Mark the necessary drilling holes for the upper and the lower mounting holes at the mounting site. To this
end, use the wall holder as a template.
• Drill the required holes and insert suitable dowels in the boreholes (W-B or special dowels).
• Now, drill two more holes for the two slotted holes in the wall holder and secure the appropriate dowels in
the drillings (W-B or special dowels).
• Screw the two remaining screws (W-A or other screws from the specialist shop suitable for the mounting
surface) into the drilled holes. Add the washers (W-C) here.
• Readjust the wall holder correctly with a mechanic’s level and tighten the fastening screws.

• Replace the two plastic covers onto the wall holder as shown.

Depending on the location of the attachment points on the TV’s back, there are different mounting options:
VESA 75x75 / 100x100 / 200x100 / 200x200:
• The VESA adapter plates (E and F) do not have to be mounted. The TV set is directly installed on the base
plate.
VESA 300x300 / 400x200 / 400x400:
• Mount the VESA adapter plates (E and F) on the base plate, as shown in image 4. Use the screws (G) for
fastening.
The VESA adapter plates (E and F) have different fastening drillings for the installation on the
base plate so that they can be adjusted to different fastening hole spacings.
Image 5:
When fixing the mounting plate to the TV set, make absolutely certain that you use the
correct screws. Not only must these be of the correct thread type for the TV set, but they
must also not be too long; otherwise they will damage the TV set.
The screws must not be too short however, otherwise the connection will not be secure.
They must be screwed into the threaded fixture holes on the TV set with at least 5 full 360°
turns.
Should the screw length of the screws in the mounting set provided (M) not be suitable
for your TV set, please acquire suitable screws at your local hardware store.
If you have any doubt about the correct length of the screws required, we recommend
that you contact the TV manufacturer or an appropriate specialist.
Make absolutely certain that the mounting plate is mounted in the centre of the TV set.
• Fasten the base plate on the rear of your TV set (illustration 5-1) using suitable screws and washers from
the mounting screw set (M).
• Should the back of your TV set be curved or if you want to mount the TV set at a greater distance to the
wall, you can insert the spacers provided (M-H or M-I) between the base plate and the TV’s rear (illustra-
tion 5-2).
• During installation make sure the remaining fastening screws on the base plate (shown in image 1) points
towards the upper edge of the TV set.
• Do not use excessive force when tightening the screws; otherwise the TV set may be destroyed, leading
to loss of warranty/guarantee!
Image 6:
The two upper fastening screws of the base plate must be loosened by approx. 3 mm in order to
be able to place the base plate onto the wall holder effortlessly and without any problem.
• Lift the TV set with the base plate onto the wall holder, as shown in the image.
• The upper fastening screws must be inserted into the corresponding bifurcations of the wall holder.
• Screw the two bottom fastening screws into the wall holder and tighten all 4 screws.
Image 7:
• Connect the connection cables to your TV set and in this process, pass them through the cable routing at
the bottom of the TV holder’s arm.
When laying the cables, leave sufficient clearance so that the cables are not strained or pinched
when the wall holder is moved.
Image 8:
• Fasten the IR receiver to a position that can be reached with the enclosed remote control. The IR receiver
has to have a “clear view” to the remote control. The receiver can be attached to e.g. the TV set with the
self-adhesive back side.
• Now, reconnect the power supply unit to the wall holder and the electric power supply as described in the
section “power supply”.
Operation
• After reconnecting the wall holder to the power supply, the wall holder will beep and switch to standby
operation.
• Press OK. The wall holder runs in the rest position on the wall and beeps again. It is now ready for operation.
