3.3 INSTALLING THE FLUE
Any flue system used on this fire must comply and be installed to fully
meet the requirements of AS/NZS 2918:2001 Domestic solid fuel burning
appliances – Installation.
Flue Pipe:
A single 150mm diameter npainted stainless steel flue should be fitted.
Flue Shield:
A flue shield must be used around the flue.

Ceiling Plate:
A 0.5mm thick stainless steel ceiling plate must be used spaced at least
11mm from the ceiling.

3.4 AUSTRALIA ONLY - MODIFYING FOR
HARDWOOD
To modify the appliance to burn hardwood (Australia only) remove the
circular cutout tab under the vent using a pair of pliers.
1. Open the door of the fire and remove the vent (shaded grey below).
2. Remove the bottom firebrick (shaded grey below).
