These  models  SPARKY  power  tools  are  supplied  from
single-phase alternating current mains. They are double
insulated according to EN 50144, IEC 60745 and can
be  connected  to  grounded  or  not  grounded  sockets.
These power tools are radio suppressed in compliance
with EN 55014-1, EN 55014-2, EN 61000-3-2, EN 61000-3-3
for radio interference.

Before  initial  operation,  please  read  carefully  the
Operating  and  Safety  Instructions. Familiarise  with  the
basic functions and proper use of the machine.

SAFETY OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

AND PRECAUTIONS

The chainsaw is designed for sawing wood, planks, laths,
etc.
Before starting to operate the power tool, always check
the following:
- Make sure power supply voltage corresponds to the
value indicated on the name plate with technical data
of the tool;
- Make sure the cord and the plug are in order. In case
of  faults  the  defective  item  must  be  replaced  by  an
authorised person.

DURING CARRYING OUT ANY WORK, PLEASE DO

OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

Double insulated power tool:
The  machine  operates  with  single-phase  alter-

nating current only. The supply and the extension cables
do not require protective (earthing) wire.

Use proper cables when operating out of doors;

Do not allow children to operate the tool;
Keep children away!
Do  not  use  or  expose  the  chainsaw  when  it  is
raining.

Do  not  use  a  machine,  repaired  by  unauthorised

person or if it is not completely equipped.

Wear  appropriate  clothing!  Do  not  wear  loose

clothing  or  accessories,  which  might  be  caught  by
moving parts of the machine.

Make  sure  that  you  are  in  a  stable,  adequately

balanced position before you start operating the saw.
Search for a secure and steady position of your body;

Do not operate the machine if the chain is damaged

or excessively worn;

During operation always hold the saw firmly with 

both

hands;

Do not force the machine! The maximum length of

cut is 400 mm.

Beware of rebounds (see paragraph below);

The use of sheath, strong gloves, non-skid footwear, gog-

gles and ear mufflers is recommended during operation;
