Cleaning
the
filter
cartridge
:
In
addition
to
washing
the
filter
with
eg.
a
hand
held
shower,
you
also
need
to
clean
the
filter
cartridge
"in
depth".
Minerals
and
other
contaminants
that
are
very
difficult
to
detect
can
get
stuck
deep
inside
the
filter's
fibers,
thus
causing
problems
with
the
water
flow.
Filter
cleaning:
1.
Put
the
dirty
filter
in
a
bucket
of
water
and
add
machine
washing
detergent
or
Filter
Cleaner
.
2.
Leave
it
submersed
in
the
sink
for
at
least
12
hours.
3.
Remove
the
filter
and
rinse
it
clean.
with
a
water
hose
or
hand
held
shower,
both
inside
and
out.
Let
it
dry
properly
before
reinstalling.
Unscrew the air screw on top of the filter.
Close the upper valve.
Then close the lower valve and shut down the
pump at once.
The filter can now be removed. Installation in
reverse.
