Step 2 - Adjusting the stair

With stair extended to floor, adjust set screw under stabilizer arm so it touches bottom of arm. This 
provides support to keep stair straight. Figure 1.

Slide bolt head up until it stops and tighten. This adjustment maintains stair height. Be sure to do both 
sides. Figure 2.

From the floor below, use the pole provided and pull 
down on stair down into the position shown below, then 
fully extend it to the floor by hooking into the underside 
of the bottom tread.
