Installa tion

This appliance is heavy. Take care when m oving it.

Rem ove all packaging, protective film s and oils from the appliance before
using for the first tim e.

Ensure that the electrical supply com plies with the type stated on the rating
plate.

Do not attem pt to m odify the appliance in an y way.

Voltage of the cooker is 230 Volt - 50 H z.

• You m ust ensure that you r cooker conne ction is operating on a 40 am p fuse.
• Your cooker m ust be earthed.
Keep an y electric cable away from hot areas and sharp edges.
If the electric cable becom es dam aged, contact a qua lified electrician and get it
replaced.
Installation m ust be carried out b y a qualified engineer..
Connection m ust be m ade in accordance with the assem bly and connection
instructions. Please pa y a special attention to ventilation requirem ent. The distance
between appliance and a cooker hood m ust be at least as the distance described
in cooker hood User M anual.
The cooker can be installed between kitchen cabinets. (Class 2/1). W hen
positioned next to a wall or a cabinet that is taller than the cooker, the gap betwee n
the cabinet or wall m ust be at least 300 m m and only a work top height cabinet
m ay be placed on the other side of the appliance. W all hanging cupboards m ust be
positioned at a height of not less than 650 m m from the top of the hob.
An y service work carried out on the appliance m ust only be done b y a qualified
and approved engineer. .
W hen using the hob, please take care to avoid an y spillage on to the hot plates as
this can be dangerous.
Steam and heat will be generated during cooking, so ensure that your kitchen is
well ventilated. Keep natural ventilation open, or have m echanical ventilation

Use oven gloves when han dling hot pots, pans or tra ys.
External surfaces of cooker m ay be hot when the oven is in use.
C hildren Safety

This appliance is designed to be operated by adults. Do not allow children to
pla y near or with the appliance.
- The appliance gets hot when it is in use. Children should be kept awa y until it
has cooled down.

Children m ay also injure them selves by pulling pans or pots off the appliance.

Before using your cooker, rem ove all packing m aterials. Packing m aterial can
also be a danger to children.

Don’t let children touch he ating elem ents inside oven, or the glass oven door
when the oven is in use. Keep children and pets away from all parts of the
cooker when it is in use.
Pressing on the glass lid with heavy item s could cause dam age to the glass or the
cover hinges, so please do not sit or place heavy item s on the glass lid.

W hen cooking heavy item s, eg; turkeys, do not pull the oven shelf out while the
item is still on the shelf. There m ay be a risk of the shelf tipping.

Never use the appliance for heating a room .

door seal is kept clean.

Never use the oven with the door inner glass panel rem oved.

Never rem ove the oven shelves when the oven is hot.

the extinguisher could tip the pan over.

Never use pans or the oven com partm ent for storing inflam m able or heat-
sensitive item s.

After using the oven, wipe down with a cloth to rem ove an y condensation that
m ay have form ed during the cooking process,.

W hen opening the appliance door, take care to avoid skin contact with an y
steam that m ay escape from the oven.

Perishable food, plastic item s and aerosols m ay be affected by heat and should
not be stored above or around the appliance.

Connecting leads of other household electrical equipm ent which m ay be in use
while the cooker is in operation should be kept well awa y from the heating
elem ents.
