Winding New Line onto a Spool

To store a spare spool, push it into the recess as shown.

Turn the spool as illustrated to lock it in place.

The spool should sit securely in the recess and will always be conveniently available when the line
on the spool runs out.
To remove it, turn it the spool in the opposite direction and pull it back out.
•
You may wind new cutting line onto an empty spool. Replacement packs of cutting line are
available from your retailer.
Use 1.5mm line
•
Remove the empty spool from the tool as described above.
•
Remove any remaining cutting line from the spool.
•
First feed 1cm of cutting line

in the bottom section of the spool as show

Wind the cutting line onto the spool in the direction of the arrow

. Make sure to wind the line on
neatly and in layers. Do not criss-cross.
•
Lock the cutting line into a slot on the edge of spool.
•
Insert the spool into the cutter head assembly as described above. Do not forget to release the
cutting line from the slot on the edge of the spool.

Only use the appropriate type of cutting line.
