MATERIALS  LIST:

1 - Eyebolt 1/2-13 x 6”
1 - 1/2” Flat Washer
1 - 1/2-13 Lock Nut

TO REMOVE WORN EYEBOLT:

Insert a large screwdriver through the “eye” of the eyebolt to keep it from turning while you loosen the nut using a 3/4”
wrench.  Remove the eyebolt and discard the used parts.  Do not reuse the old lock nut or washer.

TO INSTALL NEW EYEBOLT:

Insert the new eyebolt into the beam from the bottom to the top.  Put the 1/2” washer on the bolt.  Start the 1/2” lock nut
on the bolt.  Insert the screwdriver through the “eye” of the eyebolt to keep it from turning while you tighten the nut.
When the nut is almost tight, turn the screwdriver to properly align the eyebolt and tighten the nut securely.
