The following diagram illustrates how to connect a DVD player, SAT radio and iPod to an Alpine AI-NET radio via
the KCA-121B (ALP/Ai-RCA) by PIE. You may substitute the KCA-121B with any of our Aftermarket or OEM
(factory) single input auxiliary adapters with RCA inputs

2.  VERIFY OPERATION

1.

The 3-position selector switch is used to switch between audio sources. In the center position, the
RCA’s labeled

“MAIN INPUT”

is active and connected to the RCA’s labeled

“MAIN OPUTPUT”

We recommend connecting the source you will be listening to the most to the RCA’s labeled

“MAIN INPUT”.

2.

Move the selector switch to either the right or the left position to listen to the sources connected to
the RCA’s labeled

“INPUT A

” and

“INPUT B”.

Notes:
The output on many portable players (MP3, Mini disc, CD, SAT radios), may be too low to match the level
of a typical car audio system, and may require a line driver to boost the signal up enough for adequate
performance. Connect the output from the device to the input on the line driver; connect the output from
the line driver to one of the inputs on the AUX3.
