Please make these simple checks before calling for assistance.
If this product is to be used in a system with any other equipment,

Never attempt to repair a defective monitor yourself. Check with
your dealer. If you are not able to resolve the problem by checking
the items below.
Make sure that:
Power cord is properly inserted.
Signal or power cord of connected components is not properly
inserted.
AV input signal is present on the video inputs.
Make sure that:
AV input signal is present on the video inputs.
Contrast and brightness settings are properly adjusted.
Make sure that:
Batteries have sufficient power, and replace if necessary.
Batteries are properly installed, with polarity correctly observed.
The distance between the remote control and the IR window on
the monitor is within 6 feet and the angle is no greater than 30
from the front of the window.
