Pricing Setup (on line pricing)
Location: Engineer’s Menu/Jukebox Set Up/ Pricing Set Up
The cost of downloadable tracks can be set at an increased level to standard jukebox
tracks. Normally tracks are set at 2 credits.
To increase/decrease the price of play for download tracks press the + or – buttons.
Once a track has been downloaded to the VenueHub it remains on the machine for a
designated length of time at the standard P.O.P (factory set at 8 weeks)
If no one plays the track again within 8 weeks it will fall off the system. If it is played
within this period the track will automatically remain on the machine for another 8 weeks.
Delete Songs
Location: Engineers Menu/Music Menu/Delete Songs
Note: When using this feature disable all BGM timers as it is not possible to show tracks
that may have been hidden in an existing BGM timer. Remember to reset your BGM
timers once you have finished in this section.
The Delete Song feature allows you to delete songs from the jukebox if they are faulty or
unsuited to a particular site’s preference. NOTE: PLEASE MAKE SOUNDNET AWARE
OF ANY FAULTY TRACKS YOU FIND ON THE VENUEHUB. IT IS POSSIBLE FOR
THEM TO OVERWRITE TRACKS TO ENSURE THAT IF THE TRACK IS EVER RE-
ACTIVATED IT WILL WORK CORRECTLY.
Rather than deleting the tracks from the VenueHub they are hidden on the system to
enable them to be used again if the machine is re-profiled. Once hidden the tracks
cannot be viewed on screen or selected by the BGM timers.
Use the Up and Down Arrows to scroll through the entire music library held on the
jukebox and listed by Artist or use the << >> buttons to scroll the tracks alphabetically
(organised by artist name). Locate and then select the required track by touching it on
screen until it appears as white text highlighted on a blue bar. Touch the ‘Red Hide’
button.
A new screen appears asking you to confirm the ‘Hide’ command is correct. If you are
sure press the ‘Hide’ if not press ‘Cancel’.
