Troubleshooting Guide

If a problem should arise with your PIAB first check the following;

1. Are all the connections correct?

2. Is the PIAB being operated as described in the owner’s manual

3. Are the other components operating properly?

4. Have you checked our website for product and software updates?

If the answers to the questions above are all yes then check the problem and solutions listed below. If the problem per-

sists then there may be a malfunction. In that case disconnect the power immediately and contact our customer service

department right away for assistance.

Troubleshooting Guide

Problem    Solution

No Power

Check the AC/DC adapter, make sure that the cables are properly connected

to the adapter and the PIAB as well as the AC wall receptacle.

Check plugs; make sure they are plugged in all the way.

Check Main Power Switch; make sure that the main power switch located

on the back of the PIAB has been turned on.

Check Power Switch; make sure the secondary power button located on

the top left of the PIAB is on.

Check Batteries; if operating from the optional battery, make sure that the

     batteries have been charged.

Low Volume Level or No Sound

Increase the volume level of the PIAB using volume buttons located on the

left side corner of the PIAB.

Check mute button; make sure that the PIAB is not in mute mode. When in

mute mode you will see a picture of a speaker with an X across it indicating

that the PIAB volume has been muted. Press the power button once to unmute.

Check your media device for volume level and mute.
LCD Display is Hard to See   Go to page 17 of your manual under Light Tool Menu and locate the section

that explains how to adjust the contrast of your display.

Under very bright conditions you may have to adjust the location of the PIAB.

If using battery power check level indicator. A low battery could affect the display.
PIAB Locked Up

Disconnect the power cord from the PIAB and the AC wall outlet, wait 5 to

     10 seconds and then reconnect.

If the solution above does not unlock the PIAB then press the reset button

located on the back of the PIAB (see image on page 8).
Poor FM Reception

Adjust external antenna for best results. If you are still experiencing poor FM reception

relocate the PIAB to another location in the room or in the house.
No Bluetooth Streaming   Follow the instructions on page 10 of the manual to properly pair your

Bluetooth enabled device with the PIAB.

Make sure your device has been set to Bluetooth.

Press “Release” from the Bluetooth menu and try pairing again.

Note

: Only one device may be paired with the PIAB at a time.

No Sound through AUX Input

Make sure both ends of the audio cable are securely connected.

Increase the volume on the PIAB.

Increase the volume on your media device.

Make sure that your device is playing music, check the play button.
No Lights

Follow the instructions on page 17 of the manual for proper light operation.

Make sure the lights have been turned on from the Light tool menu.

If using battery power check level indicator. A low battery could affect the light display.
