TEST MODE
COLD RESET
System micom is reset and EEPROM is cleared.
Procedure:
1. In the standby status, press the [POWER] button to turn the
power on.
2. Press three buttons of [POWER], [ENTER
u
] and [MEGA
BASS] simultaneously.
3. The message “RESET” appears on the liquid crystal display,
the set enters standby status.
PANEL TEST
It can perform all segments on the liquid crystal display light-up,
fi
rmware version display and destination display.
Enter the panel test mode
Procedure:
1. In the standby status, press the [POWER] button to turn the
power on.
2. Press three buttons of [AUDIO IN], [ /TUNE –] and [MEGA
BASS] simultaneously.
3. When the panel test mode is activated, segments of the liquid
crystal display are all turned on.
Version, model and destination check
Procedure:
1. - BTY50 -
In the panel test mode (segments of the liquid crystal display
are all turned on), press the [
PRESET SETTING AM] but-
ton.
- BTY52/BTY55 -
In the panel test mode (segments of the liquid crystal display
are all turned on), press the [
PRESET SETTING RADIO
FM/AM] button.
2. On the liquid crystal display, system version is displayed.
Example:

3. Press the [
MEMORY SELECT USB] button, and the DSP
(USB host) version is displayed. (BTY52/BTY55 only)
Example: U 001
4. Press the [
PAIRING BLUETOOTH] button, and the Blue-
tooth module
fi
rmware version is displayed.
Example: B 0001
5. Press the [AUDIO IN] button, and the model and destination
are displayed.
Example: 34 U2CA2
6. To release from this mode, press three buttons of [AUDIO IN],
[ /TUNE –] and [MEGA BASS] simultaneously.
FM TUNER STEP CHANGE
(BTY52: 230V AC area in E model only)
The FM tuning interval can be changed over 50 kHz or 100 kHz.
Procedure:
1. In the standby status, press the [POWER] button to turn the
power on.
2. Press the [
PRESET SETTING RADIO FM/AM] button,
change to FM radio function.
3. Press and hold the [
PRESET SETTING RADIO FM/AM]
button, the message “AUTO” appears on the liquid crystal dis-
play (The display is blink).
4. Press the [PRESET –
.
] or [
>
] buttons,
change to the display of “MANUAL” (The display is blink).
5. Press the [ENTER
u
] button, change to the display of
“MANUAL P”.
6. Press and hold the [
PRESET SETTING RADIO FM/AM]
button, the message “FM 50K” or “FM 100K” appears on the
liquid crystal display (The step at present setting is displayed).
7. Press the [PRESET –
.
] or [
>
] buttons, select
to the “FM 50K” or “FM 100K”.
8. Press
the
[ENTER
u
] button, it is changed into selected set-
ting.
Press other than [ENTER
u
] button, will cancel this mode.
AM TUNER STEP CHANGE
(BTY52: 230V AC area in E model only)
The AM tuning interval can be changed over 9 kHz or 10 kHz.
Procedure:
1. In the standby status, press the [POWER] button to turn the
power on.
2. Press the [
PRESET SETTING RADIO FM/AM] button,
change to AM radio function.
3. Press and hold the [
PRESET SETTING RADIO FM/AM]
button, the message “AUTO” appears on the liquid crystal dis-
play (The display is blink).
4. Press the [PRESET –

] or [

] buttons,
change to the display of “MANUAL” (The display is blink).
5. Press the [ENTER

] button, change to the display of
“MANUAL P”.
6. Press and hold the [
PRESET SETTING RADIO FM/AM]
button, the message “AM 9K” or “AM 10K” appears on the
liquid crystal display (The step at present setting is displayed).
7. Press the [PRESET –

] buttons, select
to the “AM 9K” or “AM 10K”.
8. Press
the
[ENTER

] button, it is changed into selected set-
ting.
Press other than [ENTER
u
] button, will cancel this mode.
