Accessing files/folders in this unit
Windows
Connecting a USB device
With a USB device connected to this unit, enter "\\192.168.40.1" in the address
bar of Explorer.
The shared folder "usb" is displayed and read and write of files in the connected
USB device becomes possible.
Accessing a memory card
With a memory card inserted in this unit, enter "\\192.168.40.1" in the address
bar of Explorer. The shared folder "memory card" is displayed and read and write
of files in the memory card becomes possible.
Disabling the proxy
From the menu bar of Windows Internet Explorer, click [Tool] – [Internet Options]
– [Connect] – [LAN Settings], and then uncheck the [Use a Proxy Server for your
LAN] check box.
Mac
Connecting a USB device
With a USB device connected to this unit, select [Go] - [Connect to Server…] on
Finder, then enter "smb://192.168.40.1" in Server Address.
Double-click "USB" as the volume to be mounted.
The icon of the USB device is displayed on the desktop and read and write of files
in the connected USB device becomes possible.

With a memory card inserted in this unit, select [Go] - [Connect to Server…] on
Finder, then enter "smb://192.168.40.1" in Server Address.
Double-click "MEMORY CARD" as the volume to be mounted. The icon of the
memory card is displayed on the desktop and read and write of files in the
memory card becomes possible.
Disabling the proxy
From the menu bar of Safari, open Safari and select [Safari] - [Preferences…], and
click [Advanced]. Click [Change Settings…], uncheck the [Web Proxy (HTTP)]
check box, and click [OK].
Hint
Creating shortcuts allows you to access devices without having to enter their
addresses every time.
Note
It may take time to process, depending on the computer environment you use.
You can use the unit as an external storage device by inserting a memory card, and
then connecting the unit to a computer, using the bundled USB cable or via wireless
