Connecting with a VCR
This section describes how to connect the projector with a VCR and
external active speakers.
For details on how to connect a computer, see page 18 (EN), and to
connect other equipment, see page 21 (EN).
Also refer to the instruction manuals of equipment to be connected.
When making connections, be sure to:
• turn off all equipment before making any connections.
• use the proper cables for each connection.
• insert the plugs of the cables properly; plugs that are not fully inserted
often generate noise. When pulling out a cable, be sure to pull it out from
the plug, not the cable itself.

1) When both the S VIDEO and VIDEO jacks are connected to the external equipment, the input signal from the S VIDEO jack is selected.
Note on the VPL-X600E model
The optional IFB-X600E Interface Board is required for
the VIDEO IN and AUDIO IN jacks.
