Setting Up Your Computer
Your computer may not be equipped with all of the hardware features described in this section. The location of the controls,
ports, and jacks may vary from the illustrations shown below, depending on the model you purchased. See the online
Specifications for your computer's specific hardware configuration.
Connecting a Display (Monitor)
A display may be supplied with your computer. For details on the bundled accessories, see the online Specifications.
To connect a display

If you want to connect a DVI monitor, plug the display's cable into the DVI-D (1) or DVI-I (2) port.

If your display is HDCP-compliant, connect it to the DVI-D port. The DVI-I port on your computer is not compliant with the HDCP specification.

If you want to connect a VGA monitor, use a video adapter device (not supplied) to connect it to the DVI-I port (2).

If necessary, plug the display's cable into the rear of the display.
