Connecting External Speakers
You can enhance the sound quality of your notebook by connecting external
speakers. See the manual that came with the speakers for more information on
their installation and use.
Before connecting external speakers

Make sure that the speakers are designed for computer use.

Turn down the volume of the speakers before you turn them on.
To connect external speakers
1 Locate the Headphone jack identified by the symbol on the left side of the
notebook.
2 Plug the speaker cable into this jack.
Do not place floppy disks on the speakers; the speakers’ magnetic field can
damage the data on floppy disks.
