Using a “Memory Stick”
Note
The procedure for a standard “Memory Stick” also
applies to the other types of “Memory Stick.”
To insert a “Memory Stick”
When the unit is ready to read image data, a message
prompts you to insert your media.
With the
v
mark on the “Memory Stick” facing up and
forward, completely insert the “Memory Stick” into the
slot.
When you insert a “Memory Stick” into the unit, it is
automatically detected.
To remove the “Memory Stick”
When a message prompts you to remove the “Memory
Stick,” push it in until you hear a click

, and then pull
it out

Note
To avoid losing valuable data or damaging your media,
never remove it from the slot until the message prompts
you.
Using a CompactFlash
Card
To insert a CompactFlash card
When the unit is ready to read image data, a message
prompts you to insert your media.
With the
v
mark on the CompactFlash card facing up
and forward, completely insert the CompactFlash card
into the slot.
When you insert a CompactFlash card into the unit, it is
automatically detected.
