Replacing the Paper Roll and Ink Ribbon

Pull out the paper core from the paper roll.
You will need to reuse the paper core. Be careful
not to misplace it.
Removing the ink ribbon

Open the side door.

Remove the ink ribbon holder.
Immediately after printing, the thermal head inside the
unit will be hot. When removing a ribbon, do not insert
your hand into the ink ribbon access opening, to
prevent the risk of burns.

Open the ink ribbon holder cover.

Remove the ink ribbon.
After removing the ink ribbon, attach the black spool
to the white spool.
Do not reuse ink ribbons that have reached their
prescribed print capacities and have been removed.
The ribbon tray is reusable. Do not throw it away.
Loading the Paper Roll and Ink
Ribbon
For details on loading the paper roll and ink ribbon, see
“Loading the paper roll” on page 10 .
When you are finished loading the paper roll and ink
ribbon, press the RESET button. You can then continue
operations.
If the Ink Ribbon Breaks during Use
The remaining ribbon can be used after repairing it with
adhesive tape.
