Enjoying the sound/
images from other inputs
You can reassign audio and/or video signals to
another input when they are not currently
being used.
For example, connect the OPTICAL OUT jack
of the DVD player to the OPTICAL BD IN
jack of this receiver when you want to input
the digital optical audio signals from the DVD
player.
Connect the component video jack of the DVD
player to the COMPONENT VIDEO IN 1 jack
of this receiver when you want to input the
video signals from the DVD player.
Assign audio and/or video signals to the DVD
input jack using “A. ASSIGN” and/or
“V. ASSIGN” in the AUDIO and/or VIDEO
menu respectively.
