ELECTRICAL ADJUSTMENTS
OSD ADJUSTMENT
Connection
Procedure:
1. Short the CNP3501 pin

on the VIDEO board to the GND.
2. Connect a frequency counter to the CNP3501 pin
2
on the
VIDEO board.
3. Press the
I/
1
button to turn on the main power.
4. Press the
[MAIN MENU]
button to display “CUSTOMIZE ”.
5. Turn the
[MENU]
jog clockwise to display “OSD COLOR
[NTSC]”. If “OSD COLOR [PAL]” is displayed, turn the
[--/+]
jog counterclockwise.
6. Turn the
[MENU]
jog clockwise to display “OSD H.POSI [X]”.
7. Adjust the CT3502 so that the frequency counter reading is
3.57954 MHz.

Enter the test mode
1. While pressing the
[MAIN MENU]

[DISPLAY]
buttons, press

2. It enters the test mode, and the message “F. HUE 7” appears.

Setting:
Procedure:
1. Connect a color pattern generator to the VIDEO 1 S-VIDEO
IN jack (J2106) on the SVIDEO board, and connect an
oscilloscope to the COMPONENT VIDEO MONITOR OUT
Y jack (J3104) on the VIDEO board. (75

2. Enter the test mode, and the message “F. HUE 7” appears.
3. Turn the
[MENU]
dial, and “F. CONTRAST 7” is displayed.
4. Input color bars signal from the color pattern generator.
5. Adjust the
[--/+]
dial so that the Vp-p value of waveform
becomes 1 Vp-p.
