Note
For Apple iOS devices, the speaker is compatible with iOS 10.0 or later. A BLUETOOTH connection is not available on the
devices with iOS 9.x or earlier.
If the communication condition is poor, the BLUETOOTH device may react incorrectly to the operations on the speaker.
While music playback is in progress on a BLUETOOTH device, do not connect a device to the PLAY/CHARGE port (USB1) or to
the AUDIO IN jack. Connecting a device to the PLAY/CHARGE port (USB1) or to the AUDIO IN jack automatically places the
speaker into USB mode or into AUDIO IN mode and you do not hear music from any BLUETOOTH device.
While the speaker has a device connected to the PLAY/CHARGE port (USB1) or the AUDIO IN jack, you can still listen to music
from the BLUETOOTH device connected via a BLUETOOTH connection by selecting, for example, [My Library] on “Sony | Music
Center.”
When using in a place with a high temperature, the volume may decrease to protect the built-in battery.
If the built-in battery level is low, the maximum output of the speaker decreases.
Depending on the BLUETOOTH device, it may be necessary to adjust the volume or set the audio output setting on the
connected device.
Noise or sound interruption may occur depending on the BLUETOOTH device connected with the speaker, the communication
environment or the usage environment.
