System Administration and
Security
The
(Network Station) icon is used to configure
the security of the video network station or system
administrator. Clicking “Network Station” displays the
following screen.
Setting a Site Name
Enter the site name in the [Site name] text box that you
wish to have displayed at the top of the monitor screen,
and click the “Save” icon to save the new name. The
site name may consist of up to 40 characters.
Set Date and Time
Click the
(Date & Time) icon to display the
“General settings – Date & Time” dialog box.
SMTP
Sends IP address change information by e-mail.
FTP
Send IP address change information by FTP.
TEXT
Includes pre-specified text with the IP address change
information.

Enter the IP address or host name of
the FTP server to be used.
Enter the path to the save destination
on the FTP server to be used.
Enter the user name to log in to the
FTP server.
Enter the password to log in to the
FTP server.
Checking this box causes the video
network station to send a PASV
command to the FTP server to
establish a Passive mode connection.
Use this mode when a firewall is
present between the video network
station and the FTP server.
Select the type of file to transfer from
the Type FTP dropdown list.
This is a one-line text file containing
the changed IP address information.
This is a multi-line text file containing
information in addition to the changed
IP address information.
This is an HTML file containing the
above information with HTML tags
added.
