About Using the MiniDisc Drive and Media

Why does skipping occur when I attempt to fast forward or rewind a MiniDisc 
media during playback.

Since fast forwarding and rewinding during playback increase the time for track 
search, audio tracks may skip.

I am unable to check-in my audio files.

You can only check in audio files that meet the following criteria:

❑

The audio files have not been edited.

❑

The audio files were recorded using your VAIO® MX computer.

I cannot copy an audio file that was checked out.

Verify that the audio file is available for an authorized check-out by navigating to 
the Song Properties dialog box, as follows:

Right-click on a song. A shortcut menu appears.

Select Properties. The Song Properties window appears.

3

Verify that the Check-Out remaining option is available.

If the songs are checked out from another computer, the Check-Out remaining 
option is not available.
