Connecting an External Floppy Disk Drive

You can connect a Sony USB floppy disk drive (not supplied) to the

USB port

on your notebook.

To connect an external floppy disk drive

Plug the USB cable from the optional floppy disk drive into the

USB port on

the back panel of the notebook. The VAIO logo on the disk drive should be
facing upward.

You do not need to shut down your notebook before connecting or disconnecting a
floppy disk drive.
