When a sensor system error in the optical drive is detected, one of the following error codes is displayed.

34 700 ○ ○ 0.25 sec. An inconsistency between loader control and sensor status was
detected.
710 ○ ○ 0.25 sec. The sensor (S2 or S3) error on the SM-47 board was detected.
720 ○ ○ 0.25 sec. The sensor (PH2 or PH3) error on the SM-48 board was detected.
739 ○ ○ 0.25 sec. The position sensor (SE1) error on the SM-48 board was detec-
ted.
740 ○ ○ 0.25 sec. The sensor (PH1 or PH2) on the SM-45 board or the sensor (PH1
or PH2) on the SM-50 board detected an abnormality.
750 ○ ○ 0.25 sec. The acceleration sensor (IC202 or IC203: BI-353 board (ODS-
D280U)/BF-92 board (ODS-D280F)) detected an abnormality.
790 ○ ○ 0.25 sec. An inconsistency between the state of the lid sensor (PH2) on
the SM-49 board and the movement of the lid mechanism was
detected.
37 901 ○ ○ 0.25 sec. The temperature sensor of optical block assembly Ch-0A detec-
ted the value equal to or greater than the operation limit tem-
perature. (On side 0)
A01 ○ ○ 0.25 sec. The temperature sensor of optical block assembly Ch-0B detec-
ted the value equal to or greater than the operation limit tem-
perature. (On side 0)
B01 ○ ○ 0.25 sec. The temperature sensor of optical block assembly Ch-1A detec-
ted the value equal to or greater than the operation limit tem-
perature. (On side 0)
C01 ○ ○ 0.25 sec. The temperature sensor of optical block assembly Ch-1B detec-
ted the value equal to or greater than the operation limit tem-
perature. (On side 0)
3D 901 ○ ○ 0.25 sec. The 5V-SAG detection function was activated disabling the sys-
tem to start. (On side 0)
3E 500 ○ ○ 1 sec. The drive is not placed in the correct orientation. Or, an abnormal
orientation was detected during operation.
