LSPX-S3

Selecting the quality for music playback via BLUETOOTH connections (Codec)

The “Priority on Sound Quality” and “Priority on Stable Connection” preferences are available on the speaker for the
quality for music playback via BLUETOOTH connections. The “Priority on Sound Quality” preference provides
compatibility not only with SBC but also with AAC and LDAC for music playback of high sound quality, whereas the
“Priority on Stable Connection” preference enables music playback via more stable BLUETOOTH connections. “Priority
on Sound Quality” is the default setting.

Supported Codecs

Priority on Sound Quality (default setting): AUTO is selected. Optimal codec is automatically selected from AAC,
LDAC, and SBC.

Priority on Stable Connection: SBC is selected.

Connect the speaker to an AC outlet via a commercially available USB AC adaptor.

Note

Do not turn on the speaker.

Press and hold the + (volume) button and the (BLUETOOTH) button simultaneously for about 2 seconds.
When the “Priority on Stable Connection” preference is selected, the (BLUETOOTH) indicator flashes 3 times
in blue.
When the “Priority on Sound Quality” preference is selected, the (BLUETOOTH) indicator flashes twice in
blue.
