Set the focus value and the zoom value as required.
For the setting items, see “Setting items of
Zoom
camera
dialog”on page 36.

Click the
Apply
button.
The
Zoom camera
dialog closes.

For setting other focus areas, repeat steps 4 to 6.
Tip
You can modify the position and size of the specified
focus area by operating the mouse.
As soon as you modify the position or size, it becomes
valid. You do not need to click the
Apply
button in the
main window.
Note
The maximum focus area size is the size in which the
zoom camera can shoot with the normal magnification
(x1). If you intend to set a focus area exceeding the
maximum size, the size is reduced automatically.
Setting items of the Zoom camera dialog
Focus adjustment slider
Move the slider to set the distance at which the correct
focus is obtained.
Near button
Click this button to shorten the focus distance.
Auto button
Click to adjust the focus automatically.
Far button
Click this button to lengthen the focus distance.
Auto checkbox
Select the checkbox to adjust the zoom automatically
according to the size of the focus area.
Zoom adjustment slider
When the
Auto
checkbox is cleared, move the slider to
adjust the zoom manually.
To delete a focus area
Click to select the focus area you want to delete and
click the
(eraser) button. When the message
“Delete?” appears, click
OK
. The focus area frame on
the panorama camera image is erased.
To delete other focus areas successively, click to select
the target area, and when “Delete?” appears, click
OK
.
To give the priority order for a focus area
When multiple moving objects appear on multiple focus
areas simultaneously, the zoom camera normally shoots
the moving object that appeared in the focus area whose
left side is at the left-most end in the panorama camera
monitor window.
You can change the priority order so that your preferred
focus area has a higher priority.

Right-click to select the focus area you want to
change the priority order.
A pop-up menu appears.

Select
Priority
from the pop-up menu.
The
Priority
dialog appears.

Enter the number of the priority.
You can set the priority between
1
and
10
. The
default setting for a new focus area is
10
. The
smaller the number is, the higher the priority.

Click the
Apply
button.
The new priority order is now valid.
