DIP switch
Set the position of the DIP switch according to the input signal.
(Refer to “Setting the DIP switch”.)
Mounting the IFB-12A
Note
Mounting or removal of signal interface boards must be performed by
qualified personnel only.
This section is for qualified service personnel only.
1 Loosen the screws completely and remove the panel.
2 Push in the IFB-12A along the rail.
3 Tighten the screws.
When removing the IFB-12A, loosen the screws completely and pull it
out.

Setting the Switches
Note
Be sure not to change the setting of the SW6, 7 and JP-3, 4, 5
connectors, as this may damage the equipment connected to this unit.

terminate switches 3, 4, 5 to the appropriate position
according to how the computer and monitor are connected.
Normally set to the ON side.
Set to the OFF side when the IFB-12A is connected to a monitor and a
personal computer simultaneously.
Setting the RGB/MIX switch
Set the RGB/MIX switch to RGB when connecting the switcher to the
RGB input connectors on the monitor using the output board.
Set the RGB/MIX switch to MIX when connecting the switcher to the
projector.
If the Computer to be Connected Outputs
Monochrome Video Signal
Before connecting the computer, make sure that the IN/OUT selector of
the IFB-12A is set to IN side.
1 Connect the video output connector of the computer to the G/Y
connector of the IFB-12A.
2 Set the position of the JP-1, JP-2 connectors on the PC board.
The picture on the screen is displayed in monochrome.
Note
If step 2 is not performed, the picture on the screen is displayed in green.
