The viewfinder
When you make recording with the viewfinder, close the LCD panel. If the indications in the
viewfinder appear blurred, adjust the viewfinder lens adjustment lever located beneath the
viewfinder.
Notes
You may see primary colors shimmering in the viewfinder when you move your line of sight. This is not a
malfunction. The shimmering colors will not be recorded on the recording media.
Tips
You can adjust the brightness of the viewfinder backlight from [VF Back Light] (p. 94).
If the image is not clear in the viewfinder
If you cannot see the picture in the viewfinder clearly under bright circumstances, use the
supplied large eyecup. To attach the large eyecup, stretch it slightly and align it with the
eyecup groove in the viewfinder. You can attach the large eyecup facing either the right or left
side.
