Step 6: Basic Speaker
Setup
To fully enjoy the system’s sound, reflect the
current speaker positions in the system. Enter the
speaker distance from your listening position
using the AMP menu in the centre unit display.
For details about the AMP menu, see page 24;
about speaker placement, see page 9.

menu (page 24) appears in the centre unit
display.

The display changes in 0.2 m increments,

the two speaker distances differ.
Example: When entering 5.8 m for the front
left and right speakers.

Repeat steps 7 to 9 to set “CEN DIST”
(centre speaker distance) and “SURR
DIST” (surround speaker distance).

menu.

Select the component (input source) by pressing
DVD, VIDEO, or TUNER/BAND after turning
off the AMP menu.
Basic hookups and settings are complete.
