Turn the MENU knob to move the

Turn the MENU knob to set FREEZE to ON, then push
the MENU knob.

When FREEZE is set to OFF, the freeze-frame picture
stored to memory is erased.

Turn the MENU knob to move the

mark to FREEZE
AUTO TRIG, then push the MENU knob.

mark on the left of FREEZE AUTO TRIG
changes to a

mark, and the

mark on the left of the
setting changes to a ? mark.

Turn the MENU knob to set the method to store the
freeze-frame picture automatically.
As you turn the MENU knob, the setting changes in
the following sequence: OFF

To store the freeze-frame picture
automatically
Turn the MENU knob to move the
b
mark to REC.S
or REC.P, then push the MENU knob.
The
z
mark returns to a
b
mark, and the ? mark
returns to a
z
mark.
When REC.S is selected, the picture at the beginning
of recording is stored; when REC.P is selected, the
picture at the end of recording is stored. In both cases,
the picture is displayed on the viewfinder for the
duration specified by FREEZE STOP TIME, then the
picture is automatically stored to memory.
When the picture is stored, FREEZE STATUS
indication changes from CLEAR to STORE.
To store the freeze-frame picture manually
Turn the MENU knob to move the b mark to OFF, then
push the MENU knob.
The
z
mark returns to a
b
mark, and the ? mark
returns to a
z
mark.

FREEZE STOP
TIME
Sets the duration of display of the
freeze-frame picture when it is
stored to memory.
CAM/FREEZE SEL Specifies whether to display the
video from the camera (CAM) or
the freeze-frame picture stored to
the memory (FREZ) on the
viewfinder.
FREEZE/MIX SEL
When CAM/FREEZE SEL is set to
FREZ, specifies whether to
display only the freeze-frame
picture stored to the memory on
the board (FREZ) or mix the
freeze-frame picture with the
video from the camera (MIX) on
the viewfinder.
FREEZE STATUS
Displays whether a freeze-frame
picture is stored to the memory on
the board (STORE) or not
(CLEAR).
