Holding the handles, move the viewfinder to the
desired height and position.
The maximum adjustment ranges above are allowed
when the viewfinder is positioned near the camera
operator. To adjust the front-back position of the
viewfinder, see “Adjusting the Front-Back Position” on
page 37.

Turn the tilt-lock knob and the lift-lock knob in the
direction of the arrow indicated on each knob
(toward the lock position) to secure the position of
the viewfinder.
Adjusting the Front-Back Position
When the unit is being used under low temperatures, the
inner wiring becomes hard, and the slide operation feels
heavy. In this case, do not slide the viewfinder forcibly.

Turn the slide position knob clockwise to
FREE,
and turn the slide-lock knob counterclockwise to
release the lock of the slide position.

Adjust the front-back position.

Turn the slide position knob counterclockwise to
STOP to secure the slide position.
If you find too much slack, turn to slide-lock knob
clockwise to lock the position.
