Step 5: Verifying 
Operation

Install Smart Client on the computer connected to the unit 
to verify operation. For details on installation, 

refer to the 

NVMS Smart Client User Manual

.

Step 6: Activation

After registering cameras and configuring settings with 
the application, licenses must be activated.

Exporting License Request Files 
(.lrq)

Connect a USB flash memory device to the unit.

Click [Basics] - [License Information] in the 
Management Client screen’s tree list.

Click [Activate License Manually…] - [Offline] - 
[Export License For Activation].

4

Select the USB flash memory device in the file saving 
screen, and click [Save].

The license request file is exported.

Before removing USB flash memory devices from the 
unit, be sure to right-click the target removable disk in 
Explorer and perform [Eject].
