Editing Recorded HDD

Before editing

You can edit an HDD track only when the
HDD play mode is Normal Play.

To cancel the last edit

Use Undo function to cancel the last edit and
restore the contents of the HDD to the
condition before the edit.

To cancel while editing

Press MENU/NO or

Erasing recordings

–– Erase Function

The HDD recorder lets you erase unwanted
tracks quickly and easily.

The two options for erasing recordings are:

• Erasing a single track (Track Erase)

• Erasing all tracks in an album (Album Erase)

Before the operation, press HDD or press CD/
HDD on the recorder to light up the HDD
indicator.

Tips

• You can use the ALBUM dial on the recorder

instead of the 

<

, 

,

, or ENTER button on the

remote to select and enter items in Edit Menu or
Setup Menu.
To select an item:  Turn the ALBUM dial towards
+/–.
To enter a selection:  Press the ALBUM dial.

• You can also use the ALBUM +/– buttons instead of

 buttons to select items in Edit Menu or

Setup Menu.

Playing a recently played
album

–– History

The recorder memorizes the 20 most recently
played albums, any of which can be selected
for playback.

Before the operation, press HDD or press CD/
HDD on the recorder to light up the HDD
indicator.

Tips

• You can use the ALBUM dial on the recorder

instead of the 

<

, 

,

, or ENTER button on the

remote to select and enter items.
To select an item:  Turn the ALBUM dial towards
+/–.
To enter a selection:  Press the ALBUM dial.

• You can also use the ALBUM +/– buttons instead of

the

 buttons to select items.

While the recorder is stopped or
playing, press HISTORY.

 repeatedly until the

desired album appears in the display,
then press ENTER or YES.

The selected album starts playing.

To cancel the procedure

Press HISTORY again.

Notes

• When an album is played back for more than 10

seconds, the album is automatically registered in the
History (except during rehearsal playback or play
pause).  If a new album is registered while the
recorder is searching the History, searching is
canceled.

• You cannot search the History while the

“SHUFFLE” and “ALL ALBUM” play mode are
selected.

• If playback is stopped while the History is being

searched, searching is canceled.
