Flickering or changes in color occurs.

This occurs when recording pictures under a fluorescent lamp, sodium 
lamp, or mercury lamp in the soft portrait or sports lesson mode. Cancel 
[PROGRAM AE] in this case. (p. 44) 

END SEARCH does not work.

• The cassette was ejected after recording.
• The cassette is new and has nothing recorded. 

END SEARCH does not work 
correctly.

• There is a blank section in the beginning or middle of the tape. This is
