2-2-8. Factory Reset
The item that the user changed and adjusted is returned to
the factory-setting value.
However, the serial number and index number remain the
value that is set currently.
Turn on and off this unit after “Cancel” is changed to
“OK”.
2-2-9. Option Switch
This is a special function.
Menu configuration
1. V Slice control
The setting (ON/OFF) for measures to be taken when a
sync signal cannot be properly acquired in a specific DVD
image and when an image may be disturbed is switched.
Execution (ENTRY) is done after the setting is switched
from “OFF” to “ON”.
2. Aging mode
This is the mode setting for aging before performing AD
adjustment and white balance adjustment.
The procedure is as follows:
(1) Select the component signal of INPUT2 by input
switching.
(2) Set the component input signal of INPUT2 as a blank
signal.
(3) Select “Option Switch” and then “Aging Mode”.
(4) Switch “OFF” to “ON” and then execute (enter).
In the aging mode, the LED indicator in the lower-
right position of the unit blinks in green (at intervals of
0.5 seconds).
After aging continuously passes for 30 minutes, the
LED indicator blinks in green at intervals of three
seconds.
After the current mode is shifted to the aging mode,
keys other than the standby button are invalidated.
The way to cancel the aging mode after it is shifted is
as described below.

Input a signal to the current input signal.
3. Option S/W4
Switch the mode of determining the PC signal (1152

After switching from OFF to ON, press the ENTER button.
After this operation, be sure to perform “ALL RESET”.
Otherwise, the determination of correct signal cannot be
performed.
4. Option S/W3, Option S/W5 to 10
At present, these switches do not operate because they are
not assigned in function. (Reserved)
