When using a TV
Turn on the TV and select the video
input so that you can view the pictures
from this system.
Operating a Sony TV
You can use the following buttons to
operate a Sony TV. These buttons have
been marked in yellow.
For the BRAVIA Sync functions, see
“Using the “BRAVIA Sync” features”
(page 44).

Setting the clock
Use buttons on the remote to set the
clock.
When you have connected the unit to the
wall outlet for the first time, begin from
Step 2 in the following procedures.

to turn on the system.

Press TIMER MENU.
The hour indication flashes in the
display.
If “PLAY SET?” flashes in the display,
press

repeatedly to select
“CLOCK SET?,” then press ENTER.

repeatedly to set
the hour, and then press ENTER.

Use the same procedure to set
the minutes.
Note
The clock settings are canceled when you
disconnect the power cord or if a power failure
occurs.
To save power in standby mode
You can turn off the clock display while
the system is in standby mode to save
power (page 93). To enter Power Saving
Mode, “CONTROL FOR HDMI” must
be set to “OFF” (page 29).
