Locking the controls (Hold)
To prevent the controls from being accidentally operated when
you carry the player, use the HOLD function.
Slide the HOLD switch of the Audio Adapter to ON
(see the illustration below).
None of the controls on the Audio Adapter will operate.
Even if you set the HOLD switch on the Audio Adapter to
ON, you can control your CLIÉ handheld with its own
buttons.

Adapter
Detailed information on Audio Player for Adapter is available in
the online manual provided on the supplied CD-ROM. To view
the online manual, Acrobat Reader must be installed on your
computer.

Insert the supplied CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive of
your computer.
The installation screen automatically appears.

Click [Manuals…].
The [Manuals] folder appears.

Double-click “Audio Player for Adapter Manual.pdf.“
The online manual appears.
When Acrobat Reader is not installed

Insert the supplied CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive of
your computer.

Click [Exit].

Double-click the [My computer] icon on your Windows
desktop.

Right-click the CD-ROM drive icon and select [Open] in
the shortcut menu.

Double-click the “pc” folder.

Double-click the “Acrobat” folder.
