Scrolling names automatically
When playing CD TEXT discs or MDs (using an optional
MD unit,) the track or disc/artist name appears
automatically whenever a new disc or track is played.
Follow the procedure below to specify the automatic
scrolling of names of more than 10 characters.

While playing a CD or an MD, press MENU.

Select “Name,” press
/
to move to the sub
menu, then select “Auto Scroll” by pressing

to select “on,” then
press ENTER.

Press MENU.
The normal display appears.
To cancel the scrolling of titles
Select “off” in step 3 and press ENTER.
When playing a CD TEXT disc
Each time you press DSPL/PTY, the displayed
information changes as follows:
Disc Name/Artist Name

Track Name
*
The artist name appears automatically after the disc name.
