Connection and Setup

Set the AUDIO IN selector for the channel to which
you want to input audio signal to WIRELESS
.
To fit the WRR-862 (when using a BP-L80S
Battery Pack)

Attach the WRR tuner fitting (not supplied; service
part number: A-8278-057-B) to the back of the CBK-
55BK.

Use a Phillips type screwdriver to tighten the four
screws placed in the tuner fitting as in the following
illustration.
Make sure that all four screws are fully tightened.

Loosen the adjustment screws on the tuner fitting.

Adjust the tuner fitting position for a BP-L80S
Battery Pack to be attached, and tighten the
adjustment screws to fix its position.

Attach the mount plate supplied with the WRR-
862.
About the WRR tuner fitting (service part number: A-
8278-057-B), contact a Sony service or sales
representative.

Attach the battery pack.
On how to attach the battery pack, see “To use Battery
Pack” on page 37.

Mount the tuner on the WRR tuner fitting.

Connect the tuner power cord to the DC OUT
connector of the supplied battery adaptor, and the
audio output cable to the AUDIO IN CH-1 or CH-2
connector.

Set the switches as follows.
• Set the AUDIO IN selector for the channel to which
the audio output cable is attached to MIC.
• Set the AUDIO IN CH-1/CH-2/CH-3/CH-4 switch
for the channel to which the audio output cable is
connected to REAR.
If the XLR connection automatic detection function
is on, the input signal for audio recording is selected
automatically, and therefore this setting is not
required.
Connecting line input audio
equipment
Connect the audio output connector of the audio
equipment that supplies the line input signal to the AUDIO
IN CH-1 or CH-2 connector.
Switch settings
Set the AUDIO IN selector for the channel to which the
audio signal source is connected to LINE.
