Connection and Setup

Insert the projection of the battery adaptor into the slot
on the rear of the CBK-55BK (

), then lower the
ejection lever (
2
) until the battery adaptor is locked in
the release button.
• Before attaching the battery adaptor, make sure that
the ejection lever is raised.
• Before lowering the ejection lever, make sure that
the four hooks are attached securely. If the four
hooks are not attached securely, it may cause the
connection to be poor or damage the CBK-55BK
and battery adaptor.
To use Battery Pack
Insert the battery pack into the battery pack attaching part
of the battery adaptor, then slide the battery pack down to
lock it in place.
• Before use, charge the battery pack with the battery
charger.
• A warm battery pack immediately after use may not be
able to be fully recharged.
To remove a battery pack
Unlock the battery pack by sliding it up while pressing the
battery release lever, then remove it.
To remove a battery adaptor
Press the release button and raise the ejection lever, then
remove the battery adaptor by pulling it out while sliding
upward.
Remove the battery adaptor while supporting it by hand.
Using AC power (DC IN power)
The CBK-55BK works with AC power by using the AC
adaptor AC-DN2B/AC-DN10 (optional).
Using the AXS-R5
For attaching the AXS-R5, refer to the operating
instructions of the PMW-F55/F5.
Attaching the PMW-F55/F5
For details about the handling of the PMW-F55/F5, refer
to the operating instructions supplied with the PMW-F55/
F5.
• Requires PMW-F55/F5 software version 5.0 or later.
• Attach to or remove from the PMW-F55/F5 while the
power supply is turned off.

Attach the supplied slide plate to the bottom of the
PMW-F55/F5 securely by using a coin, etc.
Be sure to attach in the correct direction.
