1-1. Checking ROM version
When the CA-570/570P is to be connected to the BVP-
550/550P, be sure to check that the ROM version for IC36/
AT-95 board of the camera is Ver. 4.00 or higher. If ROM
replacement is required, contact your local Sony Sales
Office/Service Center.
In the following cases, it is unnecessary to check.

When connecting the unit to the BVP-950/950P
.
When connecting the unit to the camera which is
provided with the AT-126 board (such as the BVP-550/
550P upgraded by the BKP-5090 or the BVP-570)
ROM Version
IC36/AT-95 board
Ver. 4.00 or higher

ROM version can be checked easily on the viewfinder
screen. For details, refer to the BVP-550/550P mainte-
nance manual, Section 3 “Setup Menu”.
