Digital video and audio signals are input from the connected
equipment.
In addition, when you connect the equipment that is
compatible with control for HDMI, communication with the
connected equipment is supported. See page 37 to set up this
communication.
If the equipment has a DVI socket/jack, connect the DVI
socket/jack to the HDMI IN 1 socket/jack through a DVI -
HDMI adaptor interface (not supplied), and connect the
equipment’s audio out socket/jack to the PC/HDMI 1 AUDIO
IN socket/jack in the PC IN sockets/jacks. (The PC/HDMI 1
AUDIO IN socket/jack is used as the audio in socket/jack for
both the PC IN and HDMI IN 1 sockets/jacks.)

• Be sure to use only an authorised HDMI cable bearing the
HDMI logo. We recommend that you use a Sony HDMI
cable (high speed type).
