Using the BKM-XP1

Operations during playback/pause

To change to another input signal

Press the input select button of the monitor.

To sort items on the list view area (for the 
file list only)

Click the heading of the item that you want to sort. The 
item order on the list switches between ascending and 
descending order.

To display a tooltip

The clip’s information appears for 5 seconds when you 
move the cursor to the clip on the list view area.

To turn the power off

Press the 

1

 (standby) switch to turn the monitor off.

When the BKM-XP1 is playing, the monitor turns off 
after stopping playback.

Press the menu selection control.
(Return to normal speed from fast forward/fast 
reverse.)

Skip to the top of the next 
clip.

Turn the menu selection control to the right while 
pressing the menu selection button.

Press and hold the right mouse button, and move the 
mouse to the right.

Return to the top of the 
previous clip.

Turn the menu selection control to the left while 
pressing the menu selection button.

Press and hold the right mouse button, and move the 
mouse to the left.

Skip to the top of the 
current clip.

Press and hold the right mouse button, and move the 
mouse forward.

Skip to the end of the 
current clip.

Press and hold the right mouse button, and move the 
mouse toward you.

Play frame by frame.

Turn the menu selection control to the right in pause 
mode.

Turn the wheel forward in pause mode.

Play frame by frame in 
reverse.

Turn the menu selection control to the left in pause 
mode.

Turn the wheel toward you in pause mode.

Stop playback and return to 
the clip list screen.

Press the BACK button.

Left double click.
